ILHAM is a yearly event created and organized by Pelita Hati House of Art. It’s main objective-to provoke the imagination of the general public and in particular art enthusiasts into the world of sculptures.
ILHAM gathers Malaysian sculptors into one solid exhibition of sculptures and also wall relieves. The name ILHAM was given to the first sculpture exhibition by Pelita Hati in 2007.
ILHAM mean ideas and we see this as a very appropriate title for a sculpture exhibition and can be used as a platform to propel the creativities and imagination of Malaysian sculptors.
Our first effort in getting sculptors together for an exhibition in 2007 saw the participation of 5 sculptors.
For the second year-ILHAM II in 2008, 8 sculptors participated.
ILHAM III-our third year in organizing this sculpture exhibition we have a whopping 25 sculptors participating-a record unsurpassed by any private galleries in Malaysia.
Sculptures exhibited will be indoors, outdoors, hanging sculptures and also wall relieves.
